Log Files and Cookies

Youngcare Ltd use IP addresses to analyse trends, administer the site, track user's movement(s), and gather broad demographic information for aggregate use. The Website may also use ‘cookies’, which are text files placed on your computer, to help the Website analyse how users use the site and to enhance the usability of the Website. Most browser software allows you to configure settings for accepting and rejecting cookies. The functionality of the Website may be restricted for users who reject cookies. IP addresses and cookies are not linked to personally identifiable information by Youngcare Ltd unless required by law.

The website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google, Inc. (“Google”). Google Analytics uses cookies. The information generated by the cookie about your use of the Website (including your IP address) will be transmitted to and stored by Google on servers in the United States . Google will use this information for the purpose of evaluating your use of the Website, compiling reports on website activity for website operators and providing other services relating to website activity and internet usage. Google may also transfer this information to third parties where required to do so by law, or where such third parties process the information on Google's behalf. By using this Website, you consent to the processing of data about you by Google in the manner and for the purposes set out above.

Security

The Website take a number of precautions to help protect our users' information, both online and off-line.

For example, when our registration/order form asks users to enter sensitive information (such as credit card number), that information is encrypted and is protected with industry-standard strong encryption - SSL. While on a secure page, such as our donation form, the lock icon on the bottom of Web browsers such as Firefox and Microsoft Internet Explorer becomes locked, as opposed to un-locked, or open, when you are just 'surfing'.

While we use SSL encryption to protect sensitive information online, we also take additional steps to protect user-information off-line. All of our users' information, not just the sensitive information mentioned above, is restricted in our offices. Only employees who need the information to perform a specific job (for example, our billing clerk or a customer service representative) are granted access to Website users’ personally identifiable information.

While Youngcare Ltd takes great care to protect personal information on the Website, unfortunately no data transmission over the Internet can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. Accordingly, Youngcare Ltd cannot ensure or warrant the security of any information sent to or from us online. This is particularly true for information sent to us via email. Youngcare Ltd has no way of protecting that information until it reaches us. Once Youngcare Ltd receives personal information by email, we take reasonable steps to protect its security in accordance with this Privacy Statement.

Sensitive information

Youngcare Ltd use an outside credit card processing company to bill users for orders and donations.

Youngcare Ltd partner with other parties to provide specific services. When the user signs up for these services, we will share names or other contact information that is necessary for the third party to provide these services.

These parties are not allowed to use personally identifiable information provided to them by Youngcare Ltd except for the purpose of providing these services. Where Youngcare Ltd collect sensitive information, we will ONLY use it for providing Youngcare Ltd products and services to you or as authorised by law.
